Facebook lesson learned!!

I've reconnected with a friend of my brothers on Facebook recently. I was the 4 year older sister and we always had a house full of kids! So I come across this picture of my brother and his best friend~~note this was one of their favorite weirdo poses, so I've got numerous versions!

He responded with a threat of oil, bikini's and big 80's hair-do's. So note to self, if you don't know what ammo they have on you, don't fire facebook shots...............

Frizzeles!

For Easter we got 9 little chickens and a a few of them are "frizzles" perfect for me and my "frizzled" life!! The one at the front of the picture is going to be really fluffy and the kids named it Butterscotch, the rest have names too, such as Omelet and Drumstick, but these chicks are just for eggs, not for eating. We've been handling them and holding them so they will be more like pets than livestock! So heres to being a FRIZZLE! Have a great and frizzled day!

Lost my Week-end to wild women and wine!!

I have no excuse, I spent the entire week end carousing and eating and drinking with all of my girl-friends from high school, so Sunday found me in this position ALL DAY! We can't play as hard 30 years later with no repercussions! So this week I'm vowing to be a better blogger cause I haven't been at this long enough to be this lazy.

"Cluster" at Anthropology

On a recent adventure to Colorado (where we go for big city entertainment) I spotted this cute little cluster of pics at Anthropology. So now of course the hunt is on for vintage clipboards, once mounted on the wall you can change out your art theme any time, plus I love to "cluster" lots of lots of things! Love the word "cluster" except when it is attached to the bad word......which will not be named in this blog.....

First Estate Sale of the Season!!

In Wyoming, there are only two seasons........winter and summer. We got from below zero to 85 in about two days.......not much spring and not much fall.......therefore there are no sales, yard, estate, barn, nothing for about 8 months of the year. Today I was driving along through the doom and gloom of the day and I spotted it! The first sign of spring!! No it wasn't tulips or daffodils (because the spring snows always eliminate them) it was a big, fat, juicy estate sale with treasures abounding! And here is what I picked up!! Yum-ola!! A cooli-o globe, a black cross with you know who on it, a block city with, and I quote "the most authentic plasti block building set with complete intstructions", a $$ box with lock for all of my big bills and the chair!! Made my day! mmmmmmwha!!

Thelma and Louise!

I have a girlfriend who I travel with very well, today we were gabbing about next years spring break trip to some where warm, unlike spring in Wyoming. And I came across this picture, something we would totally do except our signs would say 'Give us money we are so fun~ny'. Because when together we just crack each other up but those around us are not always laughing so much!! Everyone needs a Thelma to their Louise and today I am so grateful to have found mine in Kristi!! a quote from our last trip was "we are so funny, we have no friends" and yes, we sing it in our best chinese twang and crack up all over again!!

Spring Chickens!!

We got chickens for Easter, 9 of them! But when we got up this morning there were only 8, someone had escaped! Luckily, she was safe and sound under the sofa! Today they are going to my nephew, Alexander, 1st grade classroom for spring show and tell.......it was warm yesterday and the grass is greening, but of course we are expecting snow later this week..........will it never end?????????????

My New Yummy Bed!!

Yummy, yummy, yummy I've got love in my tummy........for all of my new bedding!! Yowza, I hosted a Private Quarters home bedding party a couple of weeks ago and all of my prize girls showed up and shopped their little hearts out.......I of course got a percentage of the proceeds to spend and then had to write my own check as well, and it was so totally worth it!! I totally pimped my pad and I can't wait to get in and roll around! New linen dust ruffle, totally cushy and fat mattress pad, 600 thread count sheets, velvet and silk spread, lots of pillow covers.....ain't she purty? I'm gonna have to name her now cause she's totally come alive with all of her new togs!!

I'm outta here!

The sun is shining, the snow is melting and I am outta here!! Gotta get some new energy, fresh inspiration, and rest..........looking forward to returning with a new spring outlook!!

I can't even believe it. No words to describe 8 more inches.....I am so done with snow!!

Wink's of Wyoming Vacation Rentals

Due to the lovely recession, my business that has gone along swimmingly for the past few years now needs a stimulus package!! I have 5 beautiful vacation rental apartments that are usually full with business travelers, traveling nurses, and vacationers..........needless to say my inquiry's are down this year. So I made the decision to lease them out at a reduced rate for longer term stays..............at least I have that option!! so back in the gym today and i'm just so sure that in a few weeks i'll be looking just like this! ya think? maybe it will take a few more weeks, i don't aspire for my spine to stick out but i'll take a rib or two....................

Going back to the gym!

I'm going back to the gym today after an enforced 8 week rest! I've not moved a muscle, nor touched a treadmill, so this should be quite torturous! To feel my best I need to lift 3 days a week and do 3 days of cardio, this only takes an hour a day but I can find just about any reason to not do it. So I have a trainer who kicks my *^%$ for three of the hours, the other three are my responsibility, maybe if I have to be honest here to the entire world I will feel more guilt!! And oh yeah, it is snowing AGAIN!!! And it is no an April Fools joke!
