Heart with Wings!

I love hearts, but I really love hearts with wings. The other day Sammie came in with another version, one that wouldn't last, a leaf with two basil leaves............awwwww. Gave my heart a little lift that day!!

Not easy, but worth it!!

 

Love this, my life is really changing right now and I feel slightly out of body observing it. Key players are coming and going . Due to changes in their own lives, but subtly effecting mine. It's not easy, it is worth it. But I have a really weird feeling is going to get alot more exciting???

These four little girls have known each other since they were tiny, gone on lots of trips together, gotten in a few fights, and now they are starting to look not so much like little girls anymore! I know they are ready, but are we???

Never posted the AFTER of office Makeover!!

     We did an extreme office make over for two girls who share store space and office space. The ceiling is a silver color, the walls tiffany blue!! Window and bookshelve coverings are drop cloths! The two ugly 1970's mirrors were attached to an equally horrific dresser. Didn't need the dresser so just painted the mirrors silver! Every thing else in the room was repurposed from other areas of the building. Entire makeover was only $250!! Now it looks like a jewelry box!!

2 Years and 2 Days!!

I always enjoy my birthday, but I enjoy my sisters more! Mostly because it is two days after mine and I LOVE finding the perfect gift for her! I collect jumbles of goodies for Mindy all through out the year and then combine them into one amazing present. Sometimes it is contained  in an old suitcase, sometimes just all stacked together with a bow. But the best part of finding gifts for Mindy is that it is as easy as finding something for myself......our relationship is older than most marriages, 45 years, so in a way Mindy's birthday is also our anniversary, of friendship. I've had my best friend in my life since I was 2 years old, not many people can say that!! Lucky, lucky me!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!

Yesterday was my birthday and it was loverly!! My Renaissance Soul Mate aka Brian, asked me "How does 47 feel?", and I said, "Same as 27, only fatter!". Ha, Ha!! I think I am so very funny!! So here is to 47......can't wait to see what unfolds!

The word "vacation", very misleading..................

When we go on '"vacation" with our family (extended or not), we commit to being with those other people, 24/7, unless you are asleep, for the next however many days you have committed to this insanity for. Put it this way, if someone came into your home and said, "I'm going to lock you up in this house with those nearest and dearest to you for the next 7 days, take away the beds you like so you don't get a good nights rest, make you eat and drink food and water that is not familiar to you, and take away a few "essential to your sanity" necessities, because you forgot them and to top it off............you have to sit in a chair for 3 to 4 hours of these days with out moving." Ya, sure, sign me up on that "REALLY" fun time. Needless, to say, I have just returned from "vacation" and the fact that I threatened to break both of my husbands arms if he opened and closed our bedroom door one more time, was the least of my sins!! So glad to HOME!!
